mention three criteria that make philosophy scientific and define them each in one sentence?

Rachal Osaki: you are wrong. actually physics and philosophy were one thing. physics was a branch of philosophy callled natural philosophy. spinoza, descartes, newtonall scientists and philosophers. after the industrial revoution they split apart. to constantly increase production and development you need to separate the scientist from ethics. i studied chemistry and not once was i told to question whether or not the development of somethinf new was good or not. all progress was taught as good in spite of its impact on the world. methodical. follows scientific method....Show more

Malcom Bourek: The first of these criteria that must be met is falsifiability. Ones theory or philosophy must have the possibility to be in error in some respect. (In other words it cannot shield itself from criticism)The second is (to be scientific) is that it must be based off sensory experience. (It must be empirical)Thirdly, it must follow the scientific method. Unfortunately, I don't! see how this is possible...But following this criteria (or atleast the first two), philosophy takes on a much more science-like undertaking. For example, looking at the idea of determinism after understanding the implications of quantum mechanics and the problem of free will....Show more

Frederic Engellant: science;s new creations were always philosophical till they existed! some where understanding of all science exists and i believe it looks just like science, and after the earths logicall use of conversation needs an uplift we make a new scientific discovery for all to use and conversae about and socialize about and learn about at school*!

Aldo Decurtis: science abhors philosophy

Norma Marsalis: Philosophy is independent from such arbitrary fabrications vis-a-vis the phenomenon of wonder.
