Isaias Badgley: find the landscapes in the people faces or gestures.....and find the gestures, faces, relation in the landscapes...it's all about framing....
Janean Guz: I've got the same topic, and im doing guitars and masks- long story. But if you are good at drawing landscapes then thats great but makesure what you draw relates to you as in you want to go there, or you have been there.Personaly out of the two i would pick people. You can capture so many emotions and feelings in a portrait. My teacher got us to draw ourselves as well as our own ideas and its amazing what expressions people choose to represent themselves with. You could also draw family/friends/pets. Or even someone you admire like your favorite singer/actor. Just two more things.1. Try and make your work as big as possible- you've probably heard that before.2. Make sure YOU'RE interested in it as you will be spending hours and hours on the same object/idea.Loads of people in my class chose to do t! hings like their clothing and now there sick of it.Also when do you have your exam? Mine's straight after easter break so in like 3ish weeks =Sfeel free to email me about anything else =]mean_ppl_suck@hotmail.co.ukx...Show more
