Evelin Turlich: It sounds as if the Son (the seller) did not get the title in his name when he sold you the car. This is illegal and called "title jumping". My state doesn't require title signatures to me notarized so I know little about that part of it but to me The notary business sounds "fishy". Did the notary think he was witnessing the Dad's signature and not the Sons?
