Delmer Pectol: it's free in the sense that if you decline the free loaner, you're not going to get a discount on your bill, it's going to be the same (high) price. As said before, it's paid for with the higher labor charges. You maybe will get a complimentary carwash and maybe coffee and pastries too.You may end up paying double for the same job at the dealer compared to an independent. You need to consider if the perks you get are worth it.It's the same as an airline flight and First class ticket. You are paying a whole lot more, and have the option for a bunch of perks. If you decline the "free" drinks and meals, you aren't going to give you money back for that....Show more
Kenneth Thuesen: Like the first man said it is free, but what they charge by the hour they can afford to give it to you free.
Jeannine Vassie: It's really free. I worked at a dealership for about 6 years.
Ezekiel Kadner: True enough it's free. No added charge to the bill. If you ! own a Cadillac and it is in for service the service loaner is ALWAYS a Cadillac. If you own a Jaguar the loaner was always a Jaguar or top of the line Ford luxury car.
Jestine Osumi: hi i'm afraid the rate is yours, no longer the sellers. devoid of desirous to state the glaring too blatantly, one thousand miles in the past, the brakes had one thousand miles of placed on and tear left in them, it quite is sufficient to bypass an inspection, and is for this reason no longer a fault as such. Brake placed on isn't a warrantied commodity, it is common placed on and tear. even with the indisputable fact that, how approximately you ask as a good will gesture that the broker flow halfs with you on the fix or some such comparable deal, its have been given to be somewhat worth a attempt? very suited regards Geordie...Show more
Misty Vagle: NOTHING is free! You, and every other customer, pay for the "free" things through the parts and labor fees collected. Some may not nee! d a "loaner" but, their - and others business - brought to t! he Dealership - helps fund the "Free" items....Show more
Everette Rovinsky: Free? Well, if you call dealership prices reasonable then it might appear free to some folks. It's a convenience that you pay for by shopping at their dealership. If you pay $110 to over $500 an hour for labor in a dealership then nothing you get in return is really free. Not to mention they don't pay their mechanics flat rate hours. They get paid for as long as it takes. The dealer takes the rest of the labor rate per hour.Good Luck!...Show more
