Its the old saying that practice makes perfect. It has been well documented that Hendrick and chevy period has put much more time and effort into figuring this COT out. This is also well within the rules, and Nascar cannot make teams look a year or two ahead in order to get the future cars to work.You also have to think about the numbers of cars per make.Chevy - 21 carsDodge - 13 carsFord - 9 carsToyota - 7 carsFirst of all the odds are greater t! hat Chevy will dominate just because they have a greater number of cars. Those 21 teams can share info, they can get a pretty good idea what other chevy teams are doing by looking and watching them work on their cars. Also Jeff Gordon and Robby Gordon will never be on the same level... they have different driving styles... you cant put them both in a car exactly the same, and let them run laps... each lap one would be faster than another, never the exact time... This is because one would pick up on the gas sooner while one might hit the brakes sooner...The bottom line is that its not Nascar's fault that Chevy is dominating this year. Alecia Kaehler: Its not Chevy's fault all the top teams went with them. Hendrick, Gibbs, and RCR all did their homework and it shows. Gibbs was every bit as good as Hendrick if not better but had bad luck. Hendrick was good and took advantage of that bad luck and ! ended up with the 1st 5 wins. DEI seems to have figured it out after last week.Toyota is new to NASCAR so you know they wont be competitive. Roush spent all him time complaining about the COT and Toyota and admitted he got a late start building and testing the COT.The Dodge teams obviously don't work together. Penske has run well the rest haven't. Last year it was Evernham and nobody else. Petty has improved but was very far behind....Show more
